I can see that your friend wasn’t pleased with this article. But the truth is, we’re not pleased either! There are a few good men out there that I’m sure do their best to not follow the men status quo. However, there’s still men. Unfortunately, we live in a world that is not fair and truth be told it never has been and it sure doesn’t look like it’s going to start now. What really upset me most about this past election is hell Trump barely got a little bit over a third of the US votes from registered voters. And how VP Harris received a little less than him. What that says to me is that there is a large percentage of voters that didn’t vote for Trump nor would they vote for Harris. And let’s not get it twisted. They didn’t vote for her because she was a woman of color. They didn’t vote because she was a woman. And that alone solidifies your point exactly.

I definitely don't want to disparage the "good men" out there. Our implicit bias is something we must reckon with as a world society. The cognitive dissonance that some want to defer to good men while ignoring that statistically, men cause the most harm is something we must reckon with. I wish it would happen now, but it doesn't seem like we are on the fast timeline for change toward racial and gender justice.
